Bookshop talks

Fundraiser for the shop: a day of art talks
Four art talks, lasting an hour each, by art historian (and bookshop owner!) Dr Victoria Mier, all on Renaissance art but just four sessions looking at beautiful works of art.
The bookshop needs an injection of cash as we come to the end of the month, as we are still behind after a very quiet January and overheads have gone up this month, so all proceeds from these talks will help the shop.
Four hour-long sessions with a break between - come to as many as you like, or just call in for a bit and see if you like it! I won't mind if you leave part-way through a talk.
No specific charge, there will be a bowl for donations (and a card machine too).
Schedule:
11am: Weird and Wonderful - Northern European art
12:30pm: Cool, Calm and Rational - Italian art
2pm: Side by Side - Northern and Italian art
3.30pm: Unfinished Business - Michelangelo
Each session followed by a 20-30-minute break.
Tea/coffee available in the breaks. Might even run to a chocolate biscuit.
The shop will be closed for business, so I need to take twice as much as the shop would take on a Sunday to make it worthwhile! Haha.
I was an art historian by profession before I opened the bookshop; I have a PhD in art history from Bristol University, have taught in several institutions, and specialise in the art of Northern Europe in the Renaissance but also teach other things. People like my talks!
Pay what you like - on the door or in advance via the booking link (simply change the ticket price to whatever you would like to pay).
