Sponsorship

We just about pay our way, but there are a few expenses that sometimes challenge our day-to-day income. If you are a business or an individual that would like to support us by sponsoring one of our events or licences, do have a look at the info below.

We are not a charity, but we give our profits to charity, and we consider ourselves a community enterprise, even though we operate as a limited company - that is because I (Victoria) run the business alone and it's the most straightforward way for me to run it.

Our monthly outgoings (rent, rates, utilities) and our wage bill (there are two of us splitting the opening hours between us) each come to around £2000pcm. Our income covers this, but only just. So when we have to pay for licences and extras, it can stretch us beyond our immediate means. 

There is also the opportunity to support the monthly poetry event that meets here each month, who currently pay a rental fee but it is not a commercial venture and it can be hard for them to meet that.

So below are ways that anyone who would like to help keep the arts available to people on the high street, to keep our live music going, to keep evenings such as our poetry evenings alive, have a look at the tabs that set out more detail of what your sponsorship might cover and our sponsorship tiers. We are always open to discussion, though, if you want to offer something that isn't listed here.
